Fun fact: The man who planned the fight choreography for this movie was a man named Bob Anderson. Some of his other films he helped choreograph were the Mask of Zorro, Pirates of the Caribbean, Highlander, and Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers AND the Return of the King. Oh and he was one of the stunt doubles who wore the Darth Vader costume when they were filming the fight scenes.

Robin Wright was stunningly beautiful back then.

Aaaand def. watching this for the thousandth time tonite now. 25 years later we are still talking about this movie,why do you think that is. Who doesnt love a fairytale. In the meantime dream of large women. I"m not even your foe and I wish for that Mister Dread Pirate Roberts.

 

This is so cheesy i love it. The bad guy looks like my teacher. I love this super corn-Y movie. Good Lord. Cary Elwes was fine as hell! ??. When they"re completely dead theres only one thing to do. Whats that? Go through their pockets and look for loose change. Life is pain Highness. Anyone who tries to tell you different is selling you something. One of my favorite lines. Truth. 1:00 Wesley, Wesley, you"ve gotta hulk up first if you wanna bodyslam the giant. Oh, never mind, he channeled Roddy Piper instead.

I saw it on release in the theatre when i was 12 years old, never forget it. I loved it then as i do now. Great film, Classic. Do you always begins conversations this way? LOL. I feel that #16 should be ranked higher. “Oh my sweet westley” Yeets self down hill Edit:so many likes. This is the only movie I know of that has 3 boss battles and two of the bosses become the hero"s best friends.

Max- beat it or I"ll call the brute squad Andre- I"m on the brute squad Max- YOU ARE the brute squad Me- Dead ??????. Brian Zane voice: I give this match a 4 out of 5. They could"ve stretched it out a little longer, but I like the story they told. It builds Dread Pirate Roberts up as a versatile fighter, and not just a swordsman. Meanwhile, Andre gets to show a lot of personality while looking strong in defeat.
